For Saturday night with Wen and Jho, I prepared Aubergine Pate, Prawns in orange juice and Chicken in Apricot.

I was excited for Aubergine pate but it turned out blah.

Chicken in Apricot: Now I understand Jan’s warning,
go easy on the flour!
De-shelling 35 shrimps was laborious,
so after deveining 3, I threw the rest in.
I have no future in de-veining.

Ayam Brand Black Pepper Tuna saved the pate and gave it a spicy-sour mix. Hail canned goods!

Ok lah… I never liked red pepper.

The sauce was great! Wen demands a repeat performance for this.
