Random food in The Shangri-La, Dubai

I was taught that the basic idea behind applying self-similarity in investment strategies is that you take simple things and do it well over and over and over again and the result is (essentially) a complicated but perfect product.

Same goes for food arrangements. Take ordinary things like rough nuts, glasses and some sticks, and then you can come up with an artistic masterpiece.

Shangri-La had this set up 6 times with different kinds of rough nuts, textured bread sticks and pika-pika. It never failed at looking like a visual feast.
