Watami, Ion, Singapore

Bernice, Jho and I had Christmas lunch in Watami in Ion. B was right when she said that Watami gave the John and Yoko vibes, and it was a plus that they were mostly Pinoys in there. Too bad tho that we smelt of Japanese fried food when we exited the place

Hotate Butter Yaki: hotplate scallops with butter, for SGD 5.8

Wafu pizza: japanese pizza with teriyaki chicken for SGD 7.8

Gyubara eringi kushi: beef skewers with eryngii mushrooms for SGD 3.8

Irodori sushi grandeur, scallop, seafood, salmon and eel for SGD 10.8

Mochi cheese gratin, rice cake with cheese gratin, for SGd 5.8

We also had the Sukiyaki nabe (sliced beef hot pot with assorted vegetables for SGD 12.8) which was the ultimate win (we asked for a second serving of the soup!) but I forgot to take a photo of it. That one is the highly recommended one!
