天天餐厅- Everyday Restaurant

It was only a month ago when I joined a small Beijing debate tournament where I met fun and like-minded debaters who were interested in discussing global trends, social movements and management practices. From the pre-elimination rounds all the way to the tournament's Grand Final, I exchanged knowledge, humor and wit with the city's best.

Last week, I co-trained a 5-day Debate Workshop held for novice debaters in the same school, 北京工业大学, and marveled at science and engineering students fluent in English and who possess steep learning curves.

After 5 days, 20+ trainees, and 差不多 18 debate rounds, we whittled down to this.

At the end of the workshop, we were treated to dinner in 天天餐厅, a restaurant inside 北京工业大学. They ordered a feast for us but I was only able to note of some food.

Pickled cucumber for RMB 6

Preserved vegetable with cured meat for RMB 20
Steamed pork and rice noodle for RMB 18

Braised beef brisket for RMB 18 -我的最好的!比较甜
Fried chinese data stuffed with glutinous rice for RMB 14

Two-style fish fillets in hot chili oil for RMB 26

I don't know what this is called but this is similar to fried crepe with banana and chocolate.

Sweet camote! At least that's what they call it in the Philippines. Could not get enough of this!
